Carlos Munguia grew up the son of immigrants who came to this country chasing a better life. He watched his parents pursue the American dream through sacrifice, long hours, and the belief that today's work creates tomorrow's opportunities.

Carlos carried that work ethic into the Colorado concrete industry, developing his skills through years of hands-on experience before betting on himself and starting C & D Concrete LLC in 2023.

Kyle Jenkins grew up twelve hundred miles away in South Carolina, where he learned a similar lesson: your word matters, your work matters, and your reputation is earned one customer at a time.

Kyle moved to Colorado in 2013, originally planning to spend one winter snowboarding. Colorado became home.

He went on to build a career in property management throughout Grand County, working with homeowners and vacation properties in Colorado's resort and mountain communities. That experience taught him what property owners value, how improvements affect a home's long-term value, and how difficult it can be to find dependable contractors willing to serve areas outside the Denver metro.

When Carlos and Kyle joined forces, they saw an opportunity to combine experienced concrete craftsmanship with a customer-focused approach to residential property improvement.

C & D Concrete became Piedmont Concrete, carrying forward the quality Carlos had already built while expanding the company's reach throughout Denver, Wheat Ridge, the Colorado Front Range, Winter Park, Grand County, and surrounding mountain communities.
